Choosing a tow bar requires more than matching a vehicle's make: confirm the precise model, year, chassis, mounting requirements, intended trailer connection and documented towing limits for your vehicle and the selected product.

Both products had purchasable Shopify variants when this guide was updated. Stock, freight and fitment can change; open the individual listing and confirm the exact vehicle configuration before purchasing. The Delica product's listing years differ from part of its URL, so use the actual product specification or ask AlfaLab to clarify rather than relying on its address.

Important Checks Before Buying

1. Vehicle fitment: Verify vehicle model, generation, production year and specific rear-chassis mounting points. Accessories for one vehicle are not automatically suitable for another.
2. Towing limits: Confirm the vehicle manufacturer's permitted braked/unbraked towing capacity, tow-ball download and gross combination limits, and independently established tow-bar ratings. If a safe tow-bar capacity cannot be verified, do not use the equipment for towing. The lowest applicable limit governs; do not assume a category-wide rating.
3. Trailer connection: Verify the supplied receiver or coupling interface, compatible tow ball, electrical wiring requirements, safety-chain attachment and any other required components.
4. Fitting and approval: Check the specific installation instructions, appropriate fasteners, clearance, local requirements and whether a qualified fitting service is needed. Do not assume installation or a wiring kit is included.
5. Usage and aftercare: Check the manufacturer's instructions, permissible applications, inspection requirements, warranty and returns before buying.

Check live availability and compatibility, and never infer that a carrier is approved for towing or that its rating replaces your vehicle or tow-bar limits.
